We are thrilled to share the success of a recent fundraising event that brought together supporters, volunteers, and golfers to make a real impact for young burn survivors. On October 29, 2024, the Louisiana Fire Sprinkler Association (LFSA) hosted a fantastic golf tournament at the beautiful Santa Maria Golf Course in Baton Rouge, LA, all to benefit Camp I’m Still Me.
Thanks to the incredible efforts of LFSA, along with the generosity of sponsors and players, the tournament raised an impressive $5,000 to support our mission. These funds will go a long way in helping us provide a safe, healing environment where young burn survivors can build confidence, form lifelong friendships, and experience the joy of camp.
Several of our team members were thrilled to join in on the fun, both as volunteers and as players. The day was filled with laughter, friendly competition, and a shared passion for making a difference in the lives of our campers.
A special thank you goes out to the LFSA for organizing this incredible event, as well as to every sponsor and player who contributed. Your support helps us continue our mission of empowering young burn survivors from Louisiana, Texas, and Arkansas, and we couldn’t do it without you.
We look forward to more events like this in the future and can’t wait to continue building on the support and community spirit we saw at the LFSA Golf Tournament. Thank you again to everyone involved!
